There are various races present within the JSA: The World series list alphabetically. For full definitions on each race, follow the links the below. For a brief summary of each, continue reading.
Humans[]
Also known as human beings, especially a person as distinguished from an animal or (in science fiction) an alien. Are the most common of the three main races following this diagram. However because of how abundant humans are, they are also considered the weakest out of the three. Despite the clear weaknesses they have for pseudo or replica, some humans are strong enough to gain superpowers through various (yet classified) means.
These humans are then recruited by the Joined Services Agency to aid humanity's ungoing fight against evil. Though many consider superpowers a unique blessing, it can also be a curse as well. With great power comes great responsibility. Humans with special abilities are more often than not targeted by The Mubarak -only to be abducted and transmogrified into Strong Pseudo. These pseudo (unlike lesser pseudo) retain the captive's human forms and abilities. However, they seem to gain much more power than the average person due their innate, blood empowerment -because pseudo are basically blood clones. In the reverse order, if a human slays a pseudo, they gain and absorb its power. However, a pseudo's power is only temporary in humans. Whereas if a pseudo absorbs a human, its power is permanent.
On the other end, humans who are strong enough to slay a replica (the strongest of the main three) and harnest its replica orb are not only able to permanently keep the replica's power, but also inherit replica's weapon and Giga Mode. Giga Mode allows the user to control the replica's former familiars and powers to the fullest.
Pseudo[]
(see main article here)
Incomplete/Artificial Replicas - are the cross between strong pseudo (pseudo with human forms) combined with "The Nihilos Energy." The replica Apparatus (and perhaps Nihilo herself) is the only replica seen being able to accomplish this task. Apparatus grows Strong Pseudo is his private laboratory then cast his Nihilo's Energy into the newly-created pseudo, instantly giving them replica attributes. While some can produce signature weapons and others have elemental prowess, one things for sure. These artificial replicas aren't capable of both like true replicas, nor are they able to spawn a familiar. Militis seems to be the exception to this rule, considering Apparatus shared his essence with the artificial replica to serve as a new member of theFilii Nihilum. Unlike true replica if an artificial replica is slain in battle, they fade away -leaving behind nothing...
